We recently had Grace Memorial to handle dad's funeral arrangements. Brian and his wonderful staff were very kind, compassionate, caring, patient, and also professional. Brian took time to answer all of our questions and requests. They did a beautiful job on the memorial cards and also the memorial candle. We highly recommend Grace Memorial.
The name "Grace Memorial" is so appropriate for the business because of their graceful ways towards our requests. Brian was extremely helpful, accommodating, and calm and very patience with all my phone calls trying to do the planning of our Uncle Allan’s funeral from long distance communication. The fact he did all of the paperwork was a huge burden lifted from me. Listening to our requests and accommodating us even having the funeral within few days and on Sunday was extremely appreciated. Thank you Grace Memorial and team for your excellent service and your kind caring manner towards us.
We heard about Grace Memorial through a friend as we are not from Medicine Hat. After our mothers passing, Brian and Lorinda met us at the home and we instantly knew we were in good hands. Brian listened to what we wanted and was always available for any questions and concerns. Keri and Lorinda did an amazing job with memory card, video and obituary. The small venue was so beautiful and was exactly what we were looking for. Our family would highly recommend them in your time of need.
We sincerely want to thank Brian and the staff for their kindness and professional support during this very sad time. You were calm and you put us at ease. You also did exactly what our loved one asked for. We were treated with dignity, and repect. We were never pressured. You also helped with other questions I had. Thank you. We will not hesitate to recommend your affordable burial and cremation services.
In January 2022, our dear mother, Esther McGregor, passed away in Swift Current at age one hundred. A previous arrangement had been made with Grace Memorial to transport her body to Medicine Hat. Staying true to their commitment, they were there within a few hours despite winter road conditions. Grace’s staff was gentle and compassionate with us while we communicated our many requests over the phone. Our family, who awaited Mum’s arrival for a graveside service in Calgary, was shown the same patience and kindness. Grace Memorial managed a multi-faceted assignment with professional confidence, while not sacrificing personal touch. We are thankful for the major role the staff played in making Mum’s final journey one of dignity.
Thank you Brian And Keri for your kindness and compassion shown to our family during our recent loss. We will be forever grateful for your professional services to guide us through a difficult time. Keri, Thank you so much for an amazing job you did at putting the pictures and music together into a video tribute to Rob. Sincerely, Sheila Church & Family
The name "Grace Memorial" is so appropriate. Brian was extremely helpful, accommodating, and calm. The fact he did all of the paperwork is a huge burden lifted. Keri found a lovely picture of Echo Dale for a background. This is so meaningful, as we did go to Echo Dale forty-five times in 2021 to kayak in the pond, and to walk. Those kindly gestures mean a lot. Plus, Keri was very receptive to changes in the wording of the obituary. The staff at Grace Memorial even plants a Memorial Tree in memory. Thank you Grace Memorial and team.
Our entire family would like to send the Grace Memorial team our most heartfelt thanks, appreciation and highest commendation for the service they provided us in planning our Mother's funeral. During difficult times such as this having professional, knowledgeable, empathetic, patient and kind individuals to work with is a blessing and makes the experience memorable in a positive way. Because Grace Memorial took care of the many required details and paperwork involved, we as a family could then concentrate on mourning our most dear loved one together and spend our limited time supporting one another and celebrating her life with family and friends. For this we are all so appreciative. Brian and Keri provided excellent care and service from our first meeting to our last. Highly recommended as a first choice option for any family facing a loss.
Our mom wanted "simple" and Grace Memorial did not try to sway us from that. Brian was wonderful - reminds me of his Dad Charlie, whom my parents had some contact with regarding the Food Grains Bank. Eternal gratitude and best wishes for your business are sent to you from the Smith Family.
Grace Memorial has provided us with an affordable and yet an extremely professional service which was a process that included a timely sequence of events; big and small but each one was so very important. We are very grateful for how everything turned out. Prior to the loss of my brother, we had heard all positive comments about Grace Memorial plus the word affordable had our attention. Those being two very important parameters we decided to go with Grace. There were instances in which they offered to go above and beyond that which would be typically asked and one instance in particular, stands out. “Brian” was able to achieve a desired result for us which seemed almost impossible to attain. Thank you so much for that, Brian. Also, there is an incredibly talented and intuitive individual who works with you in designing the obituary and other materials. Keri created an obituary for Jim, like no other. Thank you. They are very straightforward and transparent which is a comfort in itself. Overall, the people there make you feel extremely special and treat you kindly and very respectfully. Thank you to all of the great people at Grace Memorial in helping to get us through this very difficult time and leaving us with some very positive feelings and special memories. We suggest to anyone who may require such a service to please not hesitate for one second because there are only positives to utilizing Grace Memorial Services which includes amazing outcomes.

Recently my father passed away and funeral arrangements were made with Grace Memorial. We met with Brian and he was so helpful with information and choices. It was a pleasure dealing with all the staff at Grace. You are all kind, caring and compassionate during a difficult time. Thank You!

Both our parents have journeyed onto Heaven this year and we are blessed to have GRACE. Less is More.....More care, compassion, comfort from the professional staff at Grace. Intimate surroundings and caring staff embrace and console our family bringing Peace.
I can’t begin to say enough good things about Brian and staff at Grace Memorial. Quality people with hearts filled with compassion. Very gentle nature and extremely respectful no pressure sales. From the initial call to the end of the process we felt like they treated us as family. We never felt rushed, with the few phone calls and visits we felt welcomed. My dad had arranged to prepay his funeral when mom passed a few years ago and Brian was excellent at communicating with out of province funeral home that dad prepaid. Please don’t hesitate to entrust your loved one with these wonderful folks. So once again thank you Brian and staff and God bless.
Brian Redpath: Thanks to you and your staff for helping us through the process of my husband, Vernon Prouty’s death. Your knowledge and expertise helped make the process so much easier. We will recommend you to other families needing a funeral director. Adair Prouty, Chad and Billy
After the sudden and unplanned passing of my wife. I found myself standing at the front door at Grace Memorial. Upon opening the door I first met Keri. She made me feel secure and I knew that I had made the right choice. Then I met Brian And he made the planning easy. I had another request after I had left and I phoned back and talked to Lorinda. She made it happen with that one call. Thank-you so much to everyone at Grace Memorial. You guys made my moment of need so much more bearable.
I found Grace Memorial to be friendly and professional with a variety of options to choose from. They were able to combine all the expenses into one payment for convenience. They did an absolute amazing job in making my loved one look perfect. I was so very pleased with every aspect of the arrangements. I would highly recommend Brian and his team.
Hi, we developed a great partnership with Brian and his team. I just wanted to let you know that it’s been great working with you. Thank you for your confidence and we are proud to be part of your business journey. Sincerely,
I was looking for a plan for my funeral coming up soon. I went to Grace and talked to a very nice man and told him what I wanted. No problem. No pressure. Only good advice. If you are confused on what to do, go talk to him. I was very happy with his attitude and would recommend him .
It has been a rough few years for my family, with a lot of losses. When my Dad passed away suddenly I heard of a new funeral home here in Medicine Hat and decided to choose them to take care of us. I couldn’t be more happy. Professional, compassionate, patient and kind; qualities I have found in other funeral homes as well, but for whatever reason it seemed much more personal and intimate at Grace Memorial. The entire experience was handled so smoothly and calmly that making decisions was simple and gave us more time to simply grieve. From the decor to the sheer intimacy of the entire establishment, along with the promptness and expertise in putting everything together I could not recommend Brian and his wonderful team any more. Let them take care of you and your loved one, while you take care of yourself.
We are always interested in hearing from the families that we serve. Please take a moment to let us know how well we served you in your time of need. We very much appreciate your feedback.
