Yvonne Walker Obituary
The world lost a wonderful soul on June 16th, 2025. Yvonne was born in Kingston, Ontario on August 29th, 1942. She graduated from Medicine Hat High School in Medicine Hat, Alberta. She then went to Garbutt’s Business School.
Yvonne worked many jobs in her life. She especially liked retail because she got to enjoy people. She fought many battles in life but lived every day to the fullest. Yvonne was always there for the family to lend a helping hand. The family is very grateful for their time spent with her…her giggles when she was playing games, especially Crokinole.
She will be missed by all.
Yvonne was predeceased by her parents, Doris & George (Al) Walker. She is survived by her sister, Yvette (Dave) Herselman; brother, Brian (Shelley) Walker; as well as nephews and nieces and their families.
The family of Yvonne wishes to extend our sincere thanks to caregivers at River Ridge. Also a thank you to Home Depot and Staff for their caring help.
At Yvonne’s request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Foundation and Dementia Foundation.
