Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Bill Thomson announce his sudden passing on June 29, 2023, at the age of 78 years. Left to cherish Bill’s memory is his wife, Pat; son; Tim (Lisa) Thomson; daughters, Sheri Thomson, Lori (Dallas) Biggs; grandchildren, Colton (Daphne), Wyatt, Dustin and Dallas Whiting, Taylor and Matt Thomson, Ernie, Josh and Danyka Biggs, and Sophie Millard; great-grandchildren, William Whiting and Annabell Sauverwald; and brothers, Carmen (Joy) Thomson and Robert (Wicky) Thomson; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Bill was predeceased by his parents, Donald and Bernice Thomson; as well as aunts and uncles.
Bill was born on June 15, 1945, in Yorkton, SK. At the young age of 5, he moved to Saskatoon, SK, where his dad worked for CNR. When Bill was old enough to join the workforce, he also worked for CNR in Saskatoon. After switching career paths, Bill worked for Air Canada for 34 years in Saskatoon. Once he retired, Bill and Pat moved to Medicine Hat, AB. He enjoyed golfing in his free time.
A private celebration of Bill’s life will be held.
