Wanda was born on January 13th, 1954, in Leader, Saskatchewan. She grew up enjoying rural life, becoming a skilled horsewoman as part of a posey of sister and cousins, exploring the hills of the South Saskatchewan River. A hard worker, her help was vital on the farm. High school graduation led to high achievement in laboratory technology at what is now Saskatoon Polytechnic. After several years of practice in Saskatchewan, she moved to practice in laboratory technology in Medicine Hat. Wanda bravely travelled alone in Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Italy and many other locations around the world, enjoying freedom and exploration of life elsewhere. Medicine Hat became her home. Wanda was predeceased by her parents, Warren and Violet. She will be missed by her sister, Roxane (Jim); brothers, Derwin (Pam) and Rodney (Karen); one niece; seven nephews and their families.
No formal service will be held.
