Tricia Joanne Nelson (Hamilton), born in Brampton Ontario November 21, 1971, passed away in the early morning hours of January 30th, 2026, in Medicine Hat, Alberta where she built her beautiful adult life for herself and family.
Trish was known for her strong will, passionate spirit, and deep connections with anyone that had the honour of knowing her. A fiery redhead at heart, she embraced life fully and found joy in its simple pleasures — golfing, volleyball, camping, sharing laughter with friends, and enjoying the quiet comfort of a good book.
Above all else, Trish was a devoted mother. Being a mom was her greatest purpose and proudest role. She lived for her children, loving them fiercely, selflessly, and without condition. Her unwavering love and dedication shaped their lives and will remain with them always.
Trish was predeceased by her father, Waynne Hamilton.
She is lovingly remembered and survived by her mother, Patricia Hamilton; her children, Bryan Nelson and Jessica Nelson; her brother, Dan Hamilton (Alva); and by many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
She will be remembered for her strength, her warmth, and her deep devotion to family. Her legacy of love will live on through all who were fortunate enough to know her. A Celebration of Life for Trish will be held 1:30pm on Thursday, February 12th, 2026, at Hillcrest Church. For those unable to attend, a livestream will be available to view by visiting www.hillcrestchurch.net/funerals.
