Travis "TJ" Stromsmoe Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Travis Jason “TJ” Stromsmoe announce his unexpected passing on November 16th, 2023, at the age of 44 years. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents, Gerald and Carol Stromsmoe; his son, Grady Stromsmoe; mother of his son, Cheryl Stromsmoe; sister, Sheila (Trevor) Sandau; nieces, Shyla and Kassidy Sandau; aunt, Nancy Scott; uncle, David Simensen; as well as many cousins. TJ is predeceased by his grandparents, Demoine Stromsmoe, Marjorie Stromsmoe, and Einar and Gertrude Simensen.
TJ was raised in Foremost, AB and after graduating from high school, he followed in his dad and grandpa’s footsteps as a grader operator for the County of 40 Mile. He enjoyed collecting antiques, riding his Harley to motorcycle rodeos with his dad, and adding to his KISS collection. His son Grady always held a special place in his heart and he loved him very much.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 2nd from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Foremost Family & Community Centre (formerly the Legion) 304 - 1 Street East. Condolences may be made at www.gracememorial.com. In lieu of flowers, donations in TJ’s memory may be made to APARC or SPCA.
