Tracey Ziegler passed away at St. Joseph’s Carmel Hospice after a courageous battle with cancer on July 16, 2023, at the age of 55 years. Left to cherish Tracey’s memory are her sons, Jayce Beaven, and Derek Ziegler (Arianna Lindstrom); daughter, Kristin (Kyle) Klug; grandchildren, Easton, Maycee, Hunter, Katence, Addysen and Harlynn; sisters, Wendy (Dean), Sharon (Lee) and Kimmy (Brent); nephews, Travis, Joel, Braeden and Jordon; and nieces Dawn and Tanya.
Tracey was predeceased by her parents, Gary and Doreen Ziegler.
Tracey was born in Medicine Hat Alberta and quickly established herself as dad’s little cowgirl. She got her first hat and boots at age 5. Through her life she moved around a bit between southern and central Alberta with the kids and horses along for the adventure. She also spent time living in BC and Saskatchewan.
Her last 5 years were focused solely on family, her three kids, and most importantly her grandchildren. She has instilled lasting memories of her life through the eyes and hearts of her loving family.
A Celebration of Life will be held July 25th, 2023 at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church (Maple Creek) at 1:00pm.
