Obituary

Safe in the loving care of Jesus Christ, and finally free of pain.

Terrel C. Johnston passed away on May 3rd, 2022, at the age of 70 years. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 31 years, Maria J. Johnston; brother, Dwight Johnston; sister, Sharon Horvath; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Terrel was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Ruth Johnston; brothers, Garth and Garry Johnston (twins); and sister Wilma Anderson.

Terrel was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Terrel and Maria were married in Edmonton in 1995. They left Edmonton in late 2015 to retire in the beautiful city of Medicine Hat. Terrel was a very kind-hearted and good-natured person and he had an affiliation for learning. People would describe him as a very knowledgeable and self-determined person. He also had sincere faith in the sovereignty of God. In the summer, he enjoyed kayaking, and going for walks at Echo Dale.  Appreciation goes out to the community and people of Medicine Hat.
