Sydney Pellow Obituary
It is with immense shock and sadness that the family of Sydney Ronald Sean Pellow announce his sudden passing on December 1st, at the age of 53. Syd was predeceased by his parents, Terry and Nancy Pellow. He is survived by his son, Joshua Pellow and Josh’s mother, Lauri; stepdaughter, Shay McKinney; sister, Dianne Hunter; nieces, Samantha and Katelyn Knight; nephew, Daniel Hunter; uncles, Jimmy Simo, Jeff Simo and Gordon Warner; as well as his good friend Terry Elliott and his family.
Syd was passionate about Springer Spaniels and spending time with his son, Josh. Over the years, Syd and Josh went on many adventures, often engaging in sarcastic warfare of which Syd was the undisputed champion. He loved nothing more than to have a spirited conversation about dog pedigrees or field trials and was keen to impart his knowledge on any unsuspecting souls. He was interested in genealogy and was constantly trying to learn more about his predecessors.
Syd worked at CORE Association. To CORE, he was a team leader, friend and long-time employee. He will be loved and missed by many.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, December 7th from 1 - 3 pm at the Wyndham Garden Medicine Hat Conference Center - 954 7th St SW.
