Samuel Adams Obituary
We are sad to announce the passing of Samuel Adams, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and special friend on December 27, 2023, at the age of 77. Sam is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Stock (Craig); his grandson, Eric Stock; granddaughter, Emily Stock (Mitch); great granddaughter, Octavia; and special friend, Norma Bell.
Sam was born June 22, 1946, to Helen and Samuel Fakas, who have predeceased him.
He was also predeceased by his sister, Jeana Wright and stepfather, Blair Adams.
He was raised in the Brooks area and moved to Medicine Hat in his teens where he lived until his passing. He worked in various jobs through the years. Sam was an avid sportsman and was involved in coaching little league baseball and senior men’s hockey.
The family would like to thank the doctors, and nurses of the Medicine Hat Regional hospital and the staff at River Ridge for the care and support they gave Sam in his last few years of life.
