Rodger Young

Rodger Young passed away on December 18th, 2023, at the age of 71 years. He leaves to cherish in memory his daughters, Toni Harmon (Eduardo) and Michele Young; grandchildren, Hope Liepert and Charlie Harmon; grandchildren of Michele; sisters, Patsy (Rick) Derzaph, Darlene, and Brenda; brother, Brian. Rodger was predeceased by his parents, Art and Margaret Young; brother, Pat Young. 

Rodger was born in Assiniboia, SK and raised on his grandfather’s farm in Liebenthal, SK then moved to Ontario and back to Medicine Hat, AB where he met Ruby. Rodger worked for Revelstoke Concrete then Inland Concrete where he spent the rest of his working years driving a cement truck. He enjoyed Sunday fishing trips, hunting in his younger years, watching Walker Texas Ranger and any action movies he could get his hands on, he enjoyed gardening and being outside building/painting projects, and you'd always find him shopping or cruising around town in his later years. He loved bugging his kids and grandkids and was always making them laugh. 

A private service will be held.
