Robert "Bob" Verhegge Obituary
Bob Verhegge passed away on September 10th, 2024, at the age of 72 years. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Alecia (Dave) Matthews and their children, Kristin and Jordan Matthews, Crystal Hellman and her children, Treyden Larson, Trinity, Magdalene and Niko Hellman, Lacy (Steve) Stewart and their children, Aria, Emery and Damon Stewart, Stephanie Anderson; stepson, Jason Anderson; and brother, Laurence Verhegge.
Bob was predeceased by his parents, John and Pauline Verhegge; brothers, Frank Verhegge and Chester Verhegge; and sister, Joyce Meyer.
Bob was born in Medicine Hat and raised in Irvine. He was a long-term truck driver who enjoyed the freedom of being on the open road, loved to spend time working on cars, and liked mudbogging. Bob had a fondness for home renovations and could always find a project to complete. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed pickling. Most of all, he enjoyed quality time spent with his children.
A formal service will not be held.
