Robert "Bob" Garry Mack

The family of Robert “Bob” Mack are saddened to announce his passing on April 15, 2025, at the age of 70 years. 

Bob was born on December 12, 1954, to Norman and Thelma Mack in Carberry, Manitoba. Bob completed his education in Carberry and moved to Medicine Hat in 1974. He worked on the roof at St. Patrick’s Church and worked in Calgary for a short time. He taught Navy league cadets from 1985 – 1990 and was proud to be a mentor to many students. Bob was a baker at the Medicine Hat Mall Safeway for 42 years, before continuing to bake at the Division Avenue Safeway. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Bob leaves behind his wife, Angela; son, Kevin Mack; sister, Donna (Keith†) Graham; stepchildren, Kirk and Shane Blaquiere and Clayton Balzer; grandchildren, Lanna and Andrea Mack and Logan and Tanner Balzer; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Bob was predeceased by his parents, Norman and Thelma; George Mack (Cathy), Lloyd Mack (Elaine), and Muriel McIntosh (Don).

The Graveside Service will be held on June 16, 2025, at 2:00PM at Redcliff Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob’s memory may be made to the Cancer Society or a charity of one’s choice.
