Richard “Benny” James Meier was born on June 20, 1967, and passed away on December 20, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of friendship, humour, and a deep love for his family and friends. He was an avid sports lover, with a former talent in hockey.
Richard is survived by his father, Jim Meier; daughter, Hannah Meier-Beauchamp; uncle, Danny (Cindy) Meier; and aunt, Patty Meier. He was preceded in death by his mother, Diane Meier; and his brother, Kelly Meier. His memory will also be cherished by numerous extended family and close friends, a true testament to a life lived to its fullest.
Richard will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever linger in the roar of an enthusiastic sports crowd, and in the laughter shared between his loved ones.
