Raymond "Ray" Wirachowsky Obituary

Ray Wirachowsky passed away on March 3, 2024, at the age of 80 years. Left to cherish Ray’s memory is his wife, Phyllis; son, Garrett (Annamarie); daughter, Wanda; grandchildren, Tiffany (Joe), Jordan (Courtney), Bryce (Tiffany); great-grandchildren, Nico and Addilyn; brother, Len (Lena); sister, Rita Darr; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ray was predeceased by his parents, and three brothers.

Ray was born on May 14, 1943, to John and Annie Wirachowsky in Wilkie, SK and raised on the family farm in Leipzig, SK. Ray was known as a jack of all trades. He loved to work with his hands which led him to dabble in carpentry, plumbing, and he enjoyed tinkering on cars. He was a trouble-shooter and most of what he tried to repair, worked.

Ray was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ray’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society by visiting https://alzheimer.ca/

The Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Parish - 1451 Strachan Rd SE, on Friday, March 8, 2024, at 11:00AM with Father Iqbal celebrant.
