It is with profound sadness that the family of Patrick Joseph Clarke announce his peaceful passing at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on February 13, 2024, at the age of 48 years.
Patrick leaves behind Krista, his loving partner of 23 years; two beautiful children, Lydia and Liam; his pups, Bailey, Rocky; and cat, Coco
Also leaving to mourn with loving memories is his father, Patrick Clarke; brothers, Earl (Elaine), Jason, Tony; and sister, Joy (Leah Ann); Krista’s parents, Pearl & Wylie Denty; brothers-in-law, Curtis (Amanda), Barry (Mary Ann); numerous nieces and nephews; and a large circle of very special friends.
Patty was predeceased by his beautiful mother, Eva Faye Clarke; niece, Ankia Clarke; and nephew, Mateo Clarke
Patrick was born and raised in Terrenceville, Newfoundland. Patty moved to Alberta in 1997 to find employment and ended up making Alberta his home. Patty's greatest accomplishment in life were his 2 children, Lydia and Liam. Everything he did in his life was for them.
In 2001, he started work with Flint Pipelines and remained a dedicated worker for 23 years. He worked right to the day before his diagnoses.
He loved his job running an excavator, traveling all over Alberta and dearly loved his work family.
When Patty wasn't at work, he enjoyed beer...lots of beers, while camping, having backyard fires and many garage parties with his family and friends.
A heartfelt thank you to the nurses on 5 East at the Medicine Hat Hospital and the team at the Margery E. Yuill Cancer Centre. Your care and kind hearts will not be forgotten.
Honouring Patty's wishes, no Funeral or Memorial Service will be held. His ashes will be laid to rest with his mother at a later date.
Donations to Patrick's children's education fund can be made to K_denty@msn.com
Condolences may be emailed or mailed to The Clarke's PO Box 1268 Redcliff, Alberta T0J 2P0
