Norm Davy passed away on November 28th, 2022, at the age of 83 years. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Pearl; daughters, Deborah (Mendis) Cooper, Carolyn (Brent) Nettles, Beth (John) Fricke, Nadine (William) Orellana; grandchildren, Christina Cooper, Ashley (Benjy) Comeau, Jeffery (Rachel) Cooper, Hayden (Megan) Cooper, Laura Nettles, Rachel Nettles, Emily (Cho) Ng, Spencer Nettles, Jordan (Rey) Marble, Tori (Nathan) Wilding, Dreah Dearing, Nathan Marble, Cassandra Park-Orellana, Dylan Orellana and Carter Orellana; brother, Donald (Isabele) Davy; sisters, Pat (Harry) Schewell and Virginia Malmsten; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Norm was predeceased by his brother, Robert Davy; sisters, Ellen Haubrich and Shirley Duncan.
Norm was born in Dawson Creek, BC on April 24, 1939. He was raised in Moose Jaw, SK. He was an avid golfer and his hobbies included model airplanes, carpentry and computers. Norm left home at the age of 17 and joined the Navy as a Naval Officer. He also enjoyed playing softball, darts and curling.
The funeral will be held on Friday, December 9th @ 11:00am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (7 Saamis Rotary Way SW) with Bishop Darren Peterson officiating. For those wishing to attend, a public visitation will be held at The Church from 9:30am – 10:30 am in the Relief Society Room.
