It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Nancy, on April 19, 2024, in Medicine Hat, Alberta.
Loving mother to Nikki (Kerry), Cindy (Dan), Aimee (Darrell), Cissy (Eric).
Proud Nana to Kayla, Justin, Joseph, Devon, Matthew, Emma, Ethan, Caleb.
Great-Nana to Carson and Isaiah.
Pre-deceased by her parents, Irven and Janet Smith (nee Gaylord); sister, Jewel; grandson, Brandon and brothers-in-law, Steve Collett and Stephen Babcock.
Survived by siblings, Richard (Donna), Wanda, and Brad (Laura); as well as many nieces and nephews.
Nancy worked at DuPont (Invista) for over 30 years and enjoyed her retirement. She was a great friend who always provided a listening and non-judgemental ear. Above all, she loved her family intensely. She leaves a hole in our hearts that we pray our many memories will somehow fill.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a service will be held in Kingston, Ontario in August (date to be determined).
