Monica Lanz Obituary
Loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. Monica is survived by her parents, Donald and Beverly McHugh; siblings, Sheila (Bill), Michelle, Brian; husband, Ron (as well as Smokey and Gail Lanz); children, Hayley (Ty) and Reid (Kyla); grandchildren, Kayson and Maysen; as well as multiple nieces and nephews.
Monica will always be remembered for her deep love of gardening and all things in nature which she shared and passed on to her children. She will also be remembered for how creative and crafty she was making anything she found outside into something beautiful to share with her family and friends.
She was a dedicated Grandma to Kayson and Maysen who brought her the greatest joy.
In lieu of flowers, please consider planting a plant in your garden or visiting the butterfly house where Monica lovingly dedicated so much of her time making it beautiful. Anytime you see a butterfly or dragonfly or hear a bird sing, know it is Monica saying hello.
A private celebration will be held May 31, 2025, to honour Monica’s life and beautiful soul.
