Melvin Roth passed away on April 6th, 2026, at the age of 82 years. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Denise (Kelly) Worobetz; daughter-in-law, Kim Roth; grandchildren, Curtis, Kassie, Tia and Peyton (Brody); great grandchildren, Rylee, Luke and Wyatt; brother, Lavern (Rita) Roth; sister, Sharon (Scott) Godsoe; nieces, Rena (Dale) and Roxy (Dan); nephew, Ryan (Jenn); as well as great nieces and nephews. Melvin was predeceased by his son, Darcy Roth; daughter, Debbie.
Melvin was born in Medicine Hat and grew up in Hilda on a farm. He ended up in Hinton, AB working at the pulp mill for most of his working career. Melvin loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Melvin wore many hats such as firefighter, musician and a jack-of-all trades. He was also an avid Blue Jay’s Fan.
Melvin’s life will be celebrated with family, friends and adventures.
