Matthew Scoville Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Matthew Thomas Scoville at the age of 42, who left us unexpectedly on July 11, 2025. Though his time with us was far too short, his radiant smile and the love he so freely shared will forever carry his memory forward.
Matthew's proudest role in life was being a father. He leaves behind his two beloved children, Kane Scoville and Lily Scoville, who were the light of his life and his greatest joy.
Matthew will be remembered for his beautiful smile, infectious laugh, and his deep love for his family and life itself. He was a creative soul who found joy in fishing, writing lyrics, stories, singing and entertaining.
Matthew is survived by his children; his mother, Celanie Scoville; his brother, Mark (Christine) Scoville; his sisters, Tamara Scoville and Salwa (Paul) Williams; and numerous nieces and nephews, friends and extended family. He is now reunited in rest with his father, Earl Scoville; and his brother, Michael Scoville.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd, at 1p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 7 Saamis Rotary Way SW. View service at https://zoom.us/j/93576526714
