Marlene Strank Obituary

Marlene Sheila Strank (nee Myers) passed away at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at the age of 84.  Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Hugh McBreen; sons, Sean and Ryan (Danielle); grandkids, Tyler, Austin, Elly, Nathan and Amy; siblings, Gail LeGrand (Jody, Todd, Mark) and Alan (Janice) Myers (Shannon, Graham, Hailey).  She was predeceased by her husband, Allan; parents, Victor and Emily Myers; twin sister, Marilyn Haffner; brother-in-law, Rene LeGrand.  Marlene was born and raised in Weyburn, SK, and attended Haig School.  Marlene married Allan John Strank on November 16, 1963, and worked in a variety of payroll positions throughout her working life.  Her quick wit and sense of humour will be missed by all her family and those who knew her.  In honour of Marlene's life, her family will gather privately to pay their respects and cherish her memory.  Donations (if wished) may be made to the SPCA of Medicine Hat on her behalf.
