Marcel Blanchette Obituary
Marcel Blanchette passed away on August 10th, 2024, at the age of 62 years. He leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Coleman (Chantelle) Blanchette and Lee Burton; daughter, Stephenie (Brandon) Vassberg; grandchildren, Morgan, Landon, Curtis, Owen, Dean, Emma lynn, and Benjamin and siblings, Jeannine Roy, Maurice Blanchette, Giséle Leclerc, André Blanchette, Thérèse Growey, Jean-Paul Blanchette and Benoit Blanchette.
Marcel was predeceased by his parents, Gerard and Marie Blanchette; stepmother, Jeanne Drapeau; grandchild, Kennedy.
Marcel was born in Peace River, AB, and raised in Yellowknife, NWT. He received his Bachelor of Commerce through the Red Deer College. He enjoyed motorbikes, fishing, and having a beer with friends to discuss politics. He was known to be a very lovely guy and did many things for people.
No formal service will be held.
