It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lynn Cameron Wilbert Hudson at the age of 77, on the evening of October 6th, 2021, at St. Joseph’s Home in Medicine Hat. Lynn was born March 17th, 1944, in Lucky Lake, SK, and grew up in Riverhurst, Saskatchewan where he and his family farmed for many years. In the early 1980s, he moved his family to Swift Current, SK. Lynn loved hockey very much, so he obtained a job driving the bus for the Swift Current Broncos and Swift Current Indians, which brought him a great deal of joy. He also drove the bus for the City of Swift Current until 2005, when he retired. Lynn also loved history and law enforcement. He co-wrote two books: Mahony’s Minute Men and Murder In Uniform. Interacting with people, driving and sports were a few of his passions. Lynn lived in Maple Creek, SK for a few years before moving to Medicine Hat, Alberta where he leaves behind his former wife, Rosemary; their son, Nathan (Laura) and their children, Terrance (19), Micah (10), Keagan (9) and Jayden (3). Lynn was predeceased by his grandparents, Richard (1962) and Anna (1942); his parents,Wilbert (1970) and Annie (1984); his uncle, Kenneth (1982); aunt, Edith (1994); and grandson, Hunter Hudson (2016).
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
