Linda "Leeann" McDonell Obituary
Leeann McDonell passed away on September 24th, 2025, at the age of 74 years. She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Blaine (Jerri) Nowicki, Blair Nowicki and Boyd (Tina) Nowicki; grandchildren, Owen (Chloe), Easton, Jax, Isabel, Alexis, Brennen, Vontae, Damon; brothers, Kenneth (Sheila) McDonell and John (Kim) McDonell; sister, Mary Lou (Fred) Stiefel; ex-husband, Cliff Nowicki; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Leeann was born in Medicine Hat and raised in Ralston. She attended McCoy High School and received her Social Work Degree at the University of Lethbridge. Leeann was a foster parent and involved with Big Brothers and Sisters. She worked at CORE. She enjoyed curling and spending time with her grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, October 1st, 2025, at 1:30pm at River Valley Community Church. Donations in Leeann’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
