Linda Lee Hope

The family of Linda (Sherwood) Hope, of Medicine Hat, is saddened to announce her sudden passing on July 26, 2021 at the age of 74 years, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Left to cherish her memory is mother, Phyllis Schneider; daughter, Nichole (Mark) Neubauer; son, Brett Hope; daughter, Bobbi (Rodney) Read and grandchildren, Logan and Evie Neubauer and Tyson and Beau Read.

Linda was predeceased by her father, John Richard Sherwood; her brothers, Glen Sherwood, Gord Sherwood and Jim Sherwood as well as her loving soulmate, Edgar "Sandy" Welling.

Linda was a talented artist and an enthusiastic gardener who enjoyed creating beautiful visual masterpieces. She loved spending time with family at her cabin in Elkwater. Linda was never one to sit idle and always had a renovation project on the go. Even when times were tough, of which she had more than her share, she remained positive and always dedicated to her family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Margery E. Yuill Cancer Centre.
