Les was born in Liverpool, Nova Scotia and at a young age, headed out west where he made Alberta his forever home. He was quick to find work ranching which he enjoyed very much until he took a job with the City of Medicine Hat where he stayed until his retirement in 2017. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping, fishing and being outdoors.
If you ask any of his friends or family, he will be most remembered by his witty unique and embarrassing sense of humor.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no formal service and he will be cremated and reunited with the love of his life, Betty.
