Leonard "Len" Lepard Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Leonard “Len” Lepard on March 3, 2025, after a long, hard-fought battle – one he faced with his signature humour and laughter.
Born on July 3, 1955, Len lived a life full of love, dedication and strength. For 48 years, he was the devoted husband of Joy, the love of his life and his greatest source of happiness. Together, they built a family filled with love, laughter and countless memories.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Joy; son, Nick (Lindsay) and their children, Grayson and Aspyn; son, Barry (Allison) and their children, Dylan (Tiarha) (their daughter Huntleigh), Ashton, Mason, Scarlett, Victoria, Cooper, and Carver; son, Jamie (Sarah); his sister, Joyce; sister-in-law, Diane; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Maurice and Leona; and his brother, Brian.
His passion for sports and mentoring young athletes shone through his years of coaching hockey and lacrosse when his boys were younger. He found joy in teaching, guiding and encouraging – not just his own children, but all those lucky enough to be coached by him.
Len’s resilience, humour and unwavering love for his family will never be forgotten. His legacy lives on in the stories he shared, the lessons he taught, and the love he gave so freely.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the summer.
