Leon "Ken" Vereschagin Obituary
It is with heavy hearts & great sadness that we announce the passing of Leon “Ken” Vereschagin of Medicine Hat, AB on July 29th, 2024, at the age of 75 years.
Ken is survived by his children, Geoff (Veronika) Vereschagin, Rick (Anita) Vereschagin, Lori Campbell (Ed Ewert); his common-law partner, Ruth Frolick and children, Bill (Chenda) Frederick, Brenda Frederick (Lorne), Bernice Frederick, Krystal Campbell and Tammy (Gary Brown; grandchildren, Brody, Kacy, Conor, Madison, Kayla, Devon, Shyla, Dreyden, Jade, Tyson, Torrance, Hayley, Jessica, Krysta, Justin, Julian, Amanda, Perry, Madison, Rob, Colton, Brett, Mackenzie, Sandra, Harry & Sheldon; 35 great grandchildren; brother, Jim (Rose) Vereschagin; sister, Helen Feth; as well as his 2nd daughter, Rhonda (Terry) Blaquier and family.
Ken was predeceased by his parents, Eli & Pauline Vereschagin; daughter-in-law, Andrea Vereschagin; nephew, Randy Toft; sister, Elaine Toft; brothers-in-law, Ken Toft & George Feth.
A private family interment will be held on August 3rd at Saamis Prairieview Cemetery. A Celebration of life will follow for family and friends at 1:00pm in the Chinook Village Garden Lounge gathering room (entrance 28 – 2992 15th Ave SE).
