Landon Jesse Van Wert

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Landon Van Wert announce his sudden passing on September 25th, 2021, at the age of 29 years. Landon was born January 7th, 1992 in Medicine Hat, AB.

One thing Landon was truly passionate about was his love for hockey. He played hockey his entire life and he never missed watching a Calgary Flames game with his family.
Landon was a compassionate, understanding person who left a good impression with everyone he met. He loved spending time with his numerous friends and family, especially outdoors. He enjoyed camping, grilling in the yard and showing off his gardening skills. Landon had a soft spot for his cat Ryder and his dog Hustler.

Left to cherish Landon’s memory are his Oma, Lieselotte Martha; Father, Richard Van Wert(Joanne Radicki); Mother, Caroline Martha(Brian Short); Siblings, Dallon Van Wert(Shaylee Zunti); Jazmon Van Wert(Zak Southall); Brett Cameron(Braydel Cameron) ; numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins and his best friend Orry Opalinkski.
Landon was pre-deceased by his Opa, Paul Martha and Grandparents, Edward and Gloria Van Wert.

No formal service will be held at this time. Those who wish to remember Landon with a donation, may do so to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
