It is with great sadness, the family of Lachhi Rai announce her passing on August 16, 2024, in Medicine Hat, AB. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Harka Rai; sons, Mangal Rai (Januka Nepal), Kharka Rai (Alisha Gurung), and Nobin Rai (Sangita Pradhan); grandson, Arush Rai; brother, Dil Rai; and sister, Maya Rai. Lachhi was predeceased by her parents, Purna and Kharka Rai; and father and mother-in law, Pratap and Bishnu Rai.
Lachhi was born on April 1, 1965, in Bhutan. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed knitting while watching movies. She was a delicious cook and a loving caregiver to family and friends. She will be missed by many.
A Graveside Service will be held at Hillside Cemetery.
