It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Kasey Reesor on March 22, 2023 at the age of 31. He was a son, brother, uncle, and friend, who will be dearly missed.
Kasey was the youngest of four children, born in Fort McMurray on September 25, 1991 where he lived until 2000. Kasey and his family then moved to Medicine Hat. Kasey enjoyed many different activities including MMA, hockey, baseball, drama, acting, BMX racing, and snowboarding. He was naturally talented, and his skills came effortlessly. Kasey was a passionate skateboarder. As a member of the Medicine Hat Skateboard Association, Kasey helped to teach kids at SkateSkool, volunteered at local charities like the Food Bank (now Root Cellar), Prairie Gleaners, and the Women's Shelter, and travelled to Mexico to build homes for families in need. Kasey was known for his generous heart and would help anyone who needed it.
Kasey will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Wayne & Angela Reesor; brother, Monty Reesor; sister, Jessie (Cale) Kaupp and nieces Kennedy, Jordynn and Caydence; brother, Jowly (Kearsten) Reesor and nieces, Isabella, Lia, and Rachel; grandpa, Ron Reesor; step grandma; Joanne Munsch; uncles, Keith (Ronda) Reesor, Michael (Cyndi) Reesor, Shane (Lynann) Munsch, Clint (Sheila) Munsch and Dusty (Krysten) Munsch; aunties, Karla (Wade) Wiebe, Wendy Reesor, Gaylene (Cory) Reesor, Cindy (Danny) Meier, and Dixie (Kevin) Munsch.
Kasey was predeceased by his grandparents, Ken and Shirley Munsch, Dorothy Reesor; and cousin, Stacy Munsch.
A celebration of life will be held at The Link Church on Friday, March 31, 2023 at 4:00 PM. There will be a service followed by refreshments and social gathering with family and friends.
