Carrol, Jessie Florence (nee Fisher) passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at the age of 84. Jessie is survived by her three children, Janet (Shawn) Lefrancois, Gordon (Carol) Hutchinson and Diana Bherer; four grandchildren, Dallas (Lynn) Hutchinson, Courtney Bherer, Dylan (Britney) Hutchinson and Brandon (Dylann Rumberg) Bherer; two great grandsons, Grayden and Dawson; sister Gloria Steiger; brother Gary (Joyce) Fisher; and son-in-law, Michael Bherer.

She was predeceased by her husband and best friend of 35 years, Duane “Krasher” Carrol (2019); her parents, Pat and Mary; five brothers, James, Ivan, Morris, Amie and Larry; and the father of her children, Gordon “Ray” Hutchinson.

Jessie and Krasher moved from Calgary in 2005 to retire in Forestburg, AB. After Krasher’s passing, we moved Mom to Medicine Hat, AB to be closer to family.

A family celebration will be held at a later date in Calgary, AB.

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff at Meadow Ridge and the Medicine Hat Hospital, especially 4 West for the care and compassion given to Mom in her final hours.
