Jason Stefan Kruk

It is with deep sorrow and love that we announce the passing of Jason Kruk, a man whose strength, intelligence, creativity, and humor touched the lives of everyone who knew him. Jason passed away surrounded by those who loved him most, at the age of 48, leaving behind a legacy that will live on through the stories, laughter, and memories he gave so generously.

Jason was the beloved husband of Barbara Kruk, a partner with whom he shared a deep and unwavering bond, built on love, and an endless shared laughter. He was a devoted and proud father to Emily Kruk and Keidis Kruk, guiding them with wisdom, patience, and an infectious sense of joy. Jason was also the treasured son of Sheryl Kruk and Chris Kruk (Lori) who raised him with love and instilled in him the values that would guide him throughout his life.

Jason will also be deeply missed by his extended family -aunts, uncles and cousins as well as many friends who he loved dearly. Jason was a dedicated and hardworking man who spent many years employed with Goodyear, where he took great pride in his work and the friendships he built with his colleagues.

He shared a lifelong friendship with Dawn Allan and Pieter Allan, his best friends who stood beside him through every chapter—sharing in his triumphs, comforting him in hardship, and laughing with him in all the moments between. Their bond was more than friendship—it was family.

Jason had a mind that was sharp and imaginative. He saw the world not just as it was, but as it could be, and his creativity brought inspiration to all who knew him. Whether solving problems, building something with his hands, or coming up with the perfect one-liner to lighten the mood, Jason had a gift for making life better and brighter. 

He was always working on his next project for the lake life he loved so much where he made many friendships and memories.

Jason’s presence filled every room. His love for his family, his intelligence, his creativity, and his sense of humor made him the kind of person others looked up to and were always glad to be around. Though he has left this world, his legacy lives on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know and love him.

A private celebration of Jason’s life will be held in the coming days, where family and close friends will gather to honor the remarkable man he was. In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to remember Jason by sharing a story, a smile, or an act of kindness in his name.

Jason will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
