Irene McGarry Obituary
The family of Irene McGarry are saddened to announce her sudden passing on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital at the age of 71 years.
Irene is survived by her daughter, Amanda (Fred); grandson, Bradley; brothers, Paul (Arlene) and Peter (Cindy); and sisters, Marlene (Jim) and Micky. She is predeceased by her parents, Frank Schmaltz and Teresia Kuntz; sisters, Carol, Lorraine and Annette; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Irene was a board director and volunteer at the Medicine Hat Exhibition and Stampede for several decades. She loved spending time with all her family, especially her grandson.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at 1:00PM at the Redcliff Legion.
