Gord McCracken passed away on May 3rd, 2026, at the age of 58 years. He leaves to cherish his memory his partner, Wendy Egeland; son, Dustyn McCracken (Maddison Boyd); step grandchildren, Maverick and Ryden; stepdaughter, Dakota (Justin) Funk & their children, Kiara, Nash and Bryleigh; stepson, Brennan Strom; Wendy’s children, Skyler, Drew and Cassidy; nephews, Cole (Dionne) McCracken & their children, Brigs and Collins; Hunter (Brooke) Andrus & their children, Tex and Les; Theron Andrus and Riley Andrus. Gord was predeceased by his parents, Dwayne and Lynn McCracken; brother, Ron McCracken.
Gord was born in Calgary, AB and raised in Taber, AB. He had a few careers throughout his life from working on the Rigs to moving houses. He also was a picker operator and a truck driver. Gord enjoyed fishing, camping and going to concerts. He loved live music.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 1st at 1:00pm at Palace Hotel (5303 47 Ave, Taber, AB).
