Glenn passed away peacefully, with his loving family by his side.
He will be missed by his loving wife, Anna Sweet of 44 years. Cherished father of Carrie Kroll (Richard Kroll & Donald Randall, both predeceased) of Stoney Creek, and Amanda Eade (Noah Eade) of Medicine Hat.
Treasured Grandpappy to Xander Eade.
Beloved son to Charles and Ethelyn Sweet and brother Richard Sweet and sister Heather Lindsay (all predeceased). He is survived by Susan Noel (Rolly) of Capreol, Carole St. John of Sudbury, Darlene Cappadocia (Jim) of Capreol, Patricia Sweet of Sudbury, and Grant Sweet (Lorrie) of Hanmer. Brother in law to Louise Toppolinkski (Jack, predeceased), Barb Garceau (Marcel, both predeceased), Judy Urban (Joe), Raymond Chevrier (predeceased) and Patricia Clarke (John predeceased).
He will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews.
Glenn was raised in Garson and spent the majority of his life in the Sudbury region, having only moved down to Southern Ontario and then out to Medicine Hat within the last five years.
Glenn was an avid Toronto Maple Leaf and Blue Jay fan and could be found watching games when they were on. He had a heart of gold, which only lead him to have many adoptive children over the years, including Allan Douglas, Derek Bunkyak, and Daniel Reynolds.
A very special thank you goes out to his many doctors and nurses at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital for their time and care with him in his last moments.
