George Stukart Obituary

As a gentleman who always beat to his own drum, George was admitted to hospital on his last birthday.  With all the sauce and wit he could muster, George flirted with all the nurses!

He was born in Calgary and grew up on the family farm in Majorville.  He loved farming and probably would have loved to run it as he came of age.  George attended school in Milo and completed high school in Calgary.

George joined the Cadets in Calgary.  He developed a great passion for Cadets and truly loved being a part of that organization.

George managed a Bank of Nova Scotia, was a Liaison Officer for the Red Cross Edmonton/Calgary division.  Life brought a few other jobs his way, but the lure of the farm called him.  One of his last jobs was on a pig farm in Central Alberta.  He loved them from "bacon seeds to bacon!". George loved all animals, especially cats, and always had one or two rescues loving him (mostly!)

George was loved, and will be missed deeply by many.  He is survived by his oldest brother Richard (Fern) Vachon, John Stukart, Elizabeth (Joseph) MacDonald.

He was pre-deceased by his loving parents Adam Stukart & Carson Elizabeth Siegle, oldest sister Samaira (Robert) Grainger, and sister-in-law Ruth Stukart, and his very good friend Kevin (Patty) Pendlebury.

George leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and their families.  As well as his cousin and good friend, Deb McCormick.

He will be greatly missed by all.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
