Emily Symanczyk passed away on May 22nd, 2023, at the age of 80 years. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Lloyd (Carrie Senkchuk) Schneider; daughter, Jennifer (Nelson) Haas; grandchildren, Dillan (Amber) Schneider, Brandon (Sara) Schneider, Jessica (Dan) Watson, Justin (Britteny) Haas, Michann (Darrin Craig) Eichendorf, Anthony Eichendorf, Makenzie Potiuk and Jerrad Schneider (Ashlea McKay); fourteen great grandchildren; brother, Roy (Marion) Teierle; one nephew and three nieces.
Emily was predeceased by her parents, Carl and Annie Teierle; son, Wesley Schneider and daughter, Theresa Eichendorf.
Emily was born in Medicine Hat, AB and raised on the farm in Schuler, AB. She attended Schuler School. Emily was a truck driver most of her life. Her interests included horses, birds and dogs. She also enjoyed camping, looking after her flower beds, trail rides and puzzles.
A private family service will be held at Westminster United Church on Saturday, May 27th with Dr. Shane Andrus officiating.
