Emelia "Emily" Symanczyk Obituary
Emily Symanczyk passed away on May 22nd, 2023, at the age of 80 years. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Lloyd (Carrie Senkchuk) Schneider; daughter, Jennifer (Nelson) Haas; grandchildren, Dillan (Amber) Schneider, Brandon (Sara) Schneider, Jessica (Dan) Watson, Justin (Britteny) Haas, Michann (Darrin Craig) Eichendorf, Anthony Eichendorf, Makenzie Potiuk and Jerrad Schneider (Ashlea McKay); fourteen great grandchildren; brother, Roy (Marion) Teierle; one nephew and three nieces.
Emily was predeceased by her parents, Carl and Annie Teierle; son, Wesley Schneider and daughter, Theresa Eichendorf.
Emily was born in Medicine Hat, AB and raised on the farm in Schuler, AB. She attended Schuler School. Emily was a truck driver most of her life. Her interests included horses, birds and dogs. She also enjoyed camping, looking after her flower beds, trail rides and puzzles.
A private family service will be held at Westminster United Church on Saturday, May 27th with Dr. Shane Andrus officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Emily’s memory may be made to The Heart & Stroke Foundation (www.heartandstroke.ca), the Margery E.
