Douglas "Doug" Ashby Obituary
Doug passed away on June 10th, 2024, at the age of 69 years. He leaves to cherish his memory his partner, Connie Johns; sons Joel (Darla) Ashby and Kurtis Ashby; daughters, Brianne (Arlen) Foster and Kaleigh Ashby (Dylan); brothers, C.G. Bud (Marlene) Ashby and sister, Lorna (Gerry) Bell; sister-in-law, Gerri Ashby. Doug was predeceased by his parents, Edgar and Margaret Ashby; brother, John “Jack” Ashby.
Doug spent a few years with the RCMP in Saskatchewan then went to Yellowknife as a building contractor until 2011. He retired to Medicine Hat in 2011 and got involved in the rural community.
A Celebration of Life will be held July 10th, 2024 at 3PM at Harmony Hall - 1 1 St SE, Redcliff, AB. Lunch will be provided following the service.
