Dianne Hordos Obituary
Dianne Hordos passed away on June 13th, 2026, at the age of 81 years. She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Roland (Monica), Peter, Joseph (Jennifer) and Pius (Ashley); daughters, April and Corinne; and grandchildren, Willow, Olivia, Kayanna, Peyton, Hendrix, Gage and Hayes. Dianne was predeceased by her beloved husband, Francis “Frank” Hordos; son, Leon Hordos; parents, Arthur and Eva Bohnet; brother, Garry Bohnet; sister, Geraldine Green; and several in-laws.
Dianne was born in Thelma, Alberta and raised in Elkwater, Alberta. She graduated from Garbutt Business College in Medicine Hat. Dianne then married the love of her life, Francis “Frank” Hordos, in 1966. She worked for a few years before returning home to Elkwater to raise her family with Frank. Dianne enjoyed curling, all kinds of needlework, puzzling, reading, and, above all else, enjoyed and loved her family. She was sick for so many years but stayed strong through it all. She will be missed so very dearly, but her family is thankful that she is now at peace.
A private graveside service will be held.
