Deborah Grunwald passed away on August 13th, 2023, at the age of 60 years. She leaves to cherish her partner of 33 years, Douglas Harder; sons, Joshua Grunwald and Nickolas Grunwald (Courtney Carry) and their son, J.J.; daughter, Nickole Grunwald; brother, Greg Marsh; sister, Kathy Babineau; mother-in-law, Mavis Harder; sister-in-law, Debbie (Kelly) Henderson; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Deborah was predeceased by her parents, William and Valerie Marsh; father-in-law, Terry Harder
Deborah was born and raised in Medicine Hat. She completed her education at Olds College as a Horticulturist. Deborah enjoyed camping, baseball and loved the outdoors and her work. She also loved pets, especially her dog, Rigel. Deborah worked for the City of Medicine Hat in the Parks & Recreation Department for 38 years.
Her contagious laugh and incredible zest for life was only bested by her amazing beauty and smile. She stole every room she entered and immediately won over every heart she touched.
As per Deb's wishes, no formal service will be held. Donations in Deborah’s memory may be made to S.P.C.A Medicine Hat by visiting www.medhatspca.ca.
