David Samuel Patrick Sigouin passed away at the Medicine Hat hospital on April 17th, 2025, after a brief illness.
Dave was born in Tisdale, Saskatchewan to Euclid and Blanche Sigouin on February 16th, 1948, and raised on the family farm between Arborfield and Zenon Park.
During his early years he attended school in Zenon Park but had to leave at an early age to help on the farm.
As an adult he enrolled in a vocational school to learn welding, which gave him an employment opportunity with Kaiser Coal in Sparwood B.C. When the mine closed Dave moved to Bow Island, first as a landlord, then as a machine shop operator and later he opened a farm equipment sales and rental business.
Dave is survived by his wife, Olivia; his sons, Dan and Chris from a previous marriage; as well as his siblings Ron (Felicity), Angeline (Lyle), RoseMarie (Harold), Louis, Maurice (Margaret), Tom (Heather).
No formal service will be held.
