David Derksen passed away peacefully on September 8, 2025, at the age of 79.
David was born on January 31, 1946, and dedicated over 50 years of his life to the craft of carpentry. Known for his quiet and gentle nature, he brought care and creativity to everything he built whether in his professional work or his personal passions.
David is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Joyce Derksen; his son, Jason Derksen (Darlene) and granddaughter, Bethany; and his daughter, Angela Wirzba and grandchildren, Olivia and Isaac. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A man of few words and steady hands, David found joy in gardening, woodworking, and the simple beauty of a well kept home that he built with his own hands. His legacy of kindness, craftsmanship, and love for his family, will live on in the lives he touched.
He will be dearly missed.
