Darren Tweed Obituary
Darren Tweed passed away on August 3rd, 2023, at the age of 50 years. He leaves to cherish his memory the mother of his children, Marnie Tweed; daughters, Olivia (Adam) Pocsik-Tweed, Elizabeth Tweed and Julia (Tristan) Tweed; brothers, Rob Gresty and Drew Tweed; father, Raymond Tweed; stepmother, Michelle (Bob) Forbes; stepfather, Clinton Truber. Darren was predeceased by his mother, Leona Tweed.
Darren was born in Wegberg, Germany and raised in Medicine Hat, Alberta. He attended Crescent Heights High School. Darren was a passionate Edmonton Oilers and Edmonton Elks fan. He enjoyed cooking, especially Sunday brunch, BBQ and smoking. Darren loved adventure, camping, golf, hockey, quadding and having a brusky with the boys. He was very passionate about his work and a very good provider for his family. His main focus was always his girls.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 19th at the Medicine Hat Legion (702 2 St SE) at 2:00pm. Donations in Darren’s memory may be made to Hockey Alberta by visiting www.hockeyalberta.ca.
