Darlene Copeman Obituary

It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Darlene Annette Copeman.

Born in Burnaby, British Columbia, Darlene was raised in the natural beauty of Penticton, BC. Throughout her life, she held a deep love for the mountains and lakes, but her ultimate peace was found at home in her flower garden—a space she lovingly called her “sanctuary.”

Darlene was a deeply spiritual soul with a passion for healing, personal growth, and selfless care for others. She earned her Third-Degree Reiki Master certification through Mount Royal University, bringing light, peace, and energy to everyone around her. Defined by her immense compassion and caring heart, Darlene was the person who would drop everything to be there for anyone in need. Known for her remarkable work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit, she was an extremely hard worker and an invaluable business partner alongside her husband.

Above all else, Darlene was the true heart and center of her family—the glue that held everyone together. She shared a beautiful life and 36 years of marriage with the love of her life, Troy, building a strong family and a meaningful journey together. Her unconditional love, warmth, and steady presence created a bond that kept her loved ones grounded and connected. Her children—whom she forever affectionately referred to as her “babies”—and her beautiful grandchildren were the absolute center of her world.

Darlene leaves behind her loving husband, Troy Copeman; her beloved children, daughter Kerissa Copeman (Matt Dietzmann) and son Koltyn Copeman, her little bear; and her cherished grandchildren: Maddix, Kinslee, Solandis, and Elvie.

She is also survived and deeply missed by her adoptive father, Gerald Pash (Sara), and was predeceased by her loving adoptive mother, the late Lynne Pash. She is survived by her biological mother, Barbara (Robert); her brother, Steven Pash, and his daughters Kendalyn and Kaitlyn; her aunt, Marion Maser (Harold); her father-in-law, George Copeman (Judy); her brother-in-law, Trevor Copeman (Kim), and their children Teegan, Treyden, Tieran, Tazzden, and Tasia; her brother-in-law Tyler Copeman; her step-sister and best friend, Tara McKee (Mike), who held a uniquely special place in Darlene’s heart, and their son Dominick; her step-brother Tyson Bartkow (Mandy) and their daughter Vienna; and her step-brother Zach Copeman.

Darlene’s warmth, unwavering support, spiritual light, and guiding presence leave an irreplaceable void. She will be endlessly loved, forever cherished, and deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
