Darcy Bednarz Obituary
Darcy Bednarz of Medicine Hat passed away peacefully on September 25, 2024, at the age of 67. He is survived by his wife, Sonja; sons, Dion (Brandi) and Bill (Megan); and two granddaughters, Riley and Windsor.
Darcy was “hard as pig iron", according to his friends at the Medicine Hat Power/Water Plant, where he worked as a master welder and pipefitter for over 30 years alongside so many instrumental in fighting the floods of ‘95 and ‘13, saving the city.
A private service will be held at the discretion of the family.
