It is with heavy hearts that the family of Danny Kambeitz announce his passing on July 5th, 2026, at the age of 71. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Anita Vereschagin (Rick); son, Cory Kambeitz (Maggie); daughter, Melanie Loomis (Dennis); stepson, Drew Shakesby (Brett);11 grandkids and 12 great grandkids; brothers, Bob, Norm and Stan. They will miss him dearly.
Danny is predeceased by his wife, Roxanne; his two sisters, Janet Stienkie and Geri Kiebel; sister-in-law, Karen Kambeitz and his loving parents, Joe and Nellie Kambeitz.
Danny was born on May 25th, 1955, in Leader Saskatchewan where his family then later on moved to Medicine Hat.
Dan was a very active man, always on the go. He lived with energy and enthusiasm. He was kind, helpful and had a great sense of humor. Everywhere he went people knew him for his smile. Dan loved hunting, family camping trips and family BBQs. His family was his biggest joy and greatest blessing.
Danny will be forever missed by all who knew him.
Those who knew dad will understand: “I’m good, I’m made of steel”
Our family would like to express our sincere gratitude to the nurses at St Joseph’s Carmel Hospice for their exceptional care of dad. Their kindness and support brought comfort to dad and too us.
A private celebration of dad’s life will be held at a later date.
