Cliford Landsiedel passed away on February 6th, 2026, at the age of 91 years. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Marjorie; son, Robert; daughters, Shelley Landsiedel and Brenda Lee (Ronald) Hollings; Marjorie’s daughters, Laura Toronto and Pamela (Micheal) Spencer; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; bother, Milton Landsiedel; sisters, Joyce Howse, Ruth Shanks and Donna (Les) Mehrer. Cliford was predeceased by his parents, Alexander and Bertha Landsiedel; brothers, Alvin and Leroy; sister, Merleen Hill.
Cliford was born and raised in Vanguard, SK. He completed his education at Kramer School. He worked for the Railway, in McCormicks Cookie Factory and started C & L Transport which expanded from Vulcan to Lethbridge and Calgary. When he sold the business, he started his career driving for Pepsi Cola Co. which took him from Vancouver to Winnipeg. When Cliford retired, he moved to Medicine Hat. He helped his brother on his farm and his mom with her yard. He drove again for Pepsi Cola Co. between Medicine Hat and Calgary, then married Marjorie. When he quit driving, he put his heart and soul in the curling rink as a board member, ice maker, handyman and teacher. After covid, they moved to Chinook and Clif watered plants, gathered bottles for the slush fund and repaired, sanded and stained the wooden structures.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the Terrace Room at Chinook Village April 25th, 2026, at 11:00am.
