It is with deep love and profound sadness that the family of Claude Coulombe announces his passing on November 1, 2025, at the age of 66 years.
Claude will be lovingly remembered by his wife Marilyn Coulombe, his sons Sean (Andrea) Coulombe and Denny (Sheri) Coulombe, and his daughter Tawna-Jeanne Coulombe. He will forever remain in the hearts of his grandchildren Jessica, Luke, Chad, Hannah, Lacey, Keon, Austin, Emilee, and Mack, and his great-grandchildren Jaxtyn and Wes. Claude is also survived by his brother Daniel Coulombe, sisters Pauline (Ryan) Sturge, Jacqueline (Mark) Toop, and Paige (Don) Humphreys, along with numerous nieces and nephews who all held a special place in his heart. He was predeceased by his parents Edmond and Aline Coulombe.
Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Claude lived a life rich with dedication, curiosity, and care for others. After completing high school, he began a diverse and fulfilling career path first as a city bus driver, then in furniture and real estate sales, and later as a life insurance representative. His true passion was discovered in the trades, where he earned his Journeyman Electrician certification and ultimately served as a Contract Inspector for the Department of National Defence at CFB Suffield.
Claude was a man of many talents and endless enthusiasm. In the 1980s he delighted countless listeners as a disc jockey both on and off the radio, sharing his love of music and his vibrant personality. Known for his quick wit, kindness, and dependable nature, Claude was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He took pride in caring for his family and found joy in every role he held throughout his life.
Though no formal service will be held, Claude’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. The family kindly asks that donations in his honor be made to St. Joe’s Hospice through www.covenanthealth.ca.
